Meha completed her bachelor’s degree in podiatry at AUT and is now a registered practicing podiatrist in New Zealand. Meha loves creating treatment and management plans tailored to her patients to ensure they are pain free. She has a strong passion for helping people and therefore, finds being a health clinician to be a rewarding job. On her days off, she loves trying out new cooking recipes, keeping fit and spending quality time with her family.
Fa'apusi (Kitty) Aofia
Kitty is a senior podiatrist with extensive experience both in private practice and the community health sector. She has extensive clinical experience in the area of high risk foot and has worked in the acute care setting for numerous years. Kitty is passionate about providing excellent care to her patients. Her interests include quality improvement and mentoring podiatrists.
Chaow has previously practiced as a Podiatrist in the rural areas of Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay. These areas were at times without water, power, or mobile reception. Chaow specializes in rural podiatry and diabetes related foot disease. During his time on the East Coast, he has worked with the local Iwi & Hapu (Ngati Porou, Ngati Kahungunu, Rongomaiwahine) to promote foot health education and to provide diabetic foot screenings. Chaow has returned to Auckland to undergo postgraduate training and hopes to bring along his skills and experiences to Clear Step Podiatry. In his personal time, he enjoys practicing traditional martial arts, fishing on the weekends, and volunteering his time at the local Thai community.”
